Harvs hole

Wales

Last week, I was in wales on a small holiday away with my partner. I and her don't really have lots of money to spend on big, expensive holidays (although I want to plan a japan trip soon).

I have never felt more at ease and rest, being somewhere so quiet. Going outside and only hearing farm animals, and a wind turbine in the distance spinning away. No cars, no music, no screaming kids, just peace and quiet. Going from that, to the carnage that is the south-west of England, really drives me up the wall. It also really makes me want to move to the country, but that's another story for another day.

Having that time away really gave me time to reflect on myself, and my current situation. I am constantly reminding myself that I am not in a bad position, and that we all have our own journeys we go on — and that takes time.

If there's one thing I could suggest to anyone, is go and stay somewhere in the middle of nowhere. Disconnect. Go on your own, with a lover, or a friend. Make memories and have fun. it's the best thing you can do to your brain, give it some time to relax and not worry about too much for 5 minutes.
